Hotel Introduction
Dong Fang Hotel was built in 1961. It was a hotel particularly for senior government ministers and foreigners. We are honored with The International Five Star Diamond Award by The American Academy of Hospitality Sciences from 2006 to 2007. After over 40 years development, Dong Fang Hotel is still one of the best hotels in Guangzhou. The new renovation in 2006 combined historical cultural and modern concept to create a brand new image which is a luxury commercial five-star hotel.
Central garden is set within Dong Fang Hotel is our unique one-hectare central garden elegantly designed for your relaxation. The lush semitropical green with a cascading water curtain beckons you to still your mind in the midst of busy schedules. The squash room, gymnasium and open-air swimming pool within the garden combine to pander to your complete relaxation.
Yue Xiu Park and Liu Hua Park are surrounding Dong Fang Hotel, which make our guests can see the greens and lake views every morning. Also, they can take a 2 minutes walk from hotel to those parks to breathe fresh air. Dong Fang Hotel has the most convenient location. The Canton Fair Exhibition Center is opposite to the hotel and the Central Railway Station is within 500 meters area. It is only a 30 minutes drive to the International Airport, 15-minute drive to the Guangzhou-Kowloon Express Station. The broad plot of Guangzhou-Hongkong coach is at the gate and the subway station is only 2 minutes walk.
